MANDY MADSEN

I approach painting as my time to create and connect with God.  My painting style is very loose and expressive. My desire is for you to feel the passion and emotion that goes into each piece.

My faith is the most important thing to me, so to be able to connect with God while creating and, at the same time, glorify Him through it is so fulfilling.  It feels like it is what I am meant to be doing.  The therapeutic benefit of art and the spiritual connection to my Creator keep me going back to my easel daily.

I started painting the sky in 2021 after losing a friend to suicide.  I find the subject to be hopeful, emotional, creative in both its art form and in real life. It is ever-changing, yet always there.  I'm thankful for each day, even the worst of them.
